With over 1.5 million TikTok followers and over 42.9 million likes, Clint Smith, better known as @thekidsmitty, is an influencer with a knack for creating content. He began on the app late last year and has since grown a significant social media following through a variety of different mediums. He never falls short on entertaining his fanbase, combining a variety of TikTok trends in his videos. This includes everything from comedy shorts, dance trends, and TikTok challenges. He describes himself as a family man with a hard working mentality, something that is clearly evident in his content. We recently spoke to the budding entertainer on a dream collaboration, favorite pastimes, and more! 

Tell us a little about yourself.

 I’m a family man that loves to make other people smile and laugh everyday. I enjoy making a good time out of any situation. 

Did you have any specific plans or ideas when you joined TikTok? 

No actually I joined TikTok because some friends had told me I should because of my personality, but now I love it and  how I’ve met so many people and made many friends from it.

You seem to be hitting all the trends with your content. Where do you get inspiration from when making your videos?

I get my inspiration from things that happen in my life. They love hearing about the crazy situations I go through haha!

How has the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic affected you, both as a TikToker and in your personal life?

It slowed down everything but never stopped my content just traveling and collabs.

In less than a year, you’ve gained a huge following of over 1.2 million followers. How has such quick success changed your life?

I’ve been offered new opportunities to further my dream. So it’s impacted my life greatly and quickly.

With such success, do you ever feel any pressure to make content?

No I don’t feel pressure; I’m always giving 100% effort in anything I do.

What are some of your favorite things you do outside of social media?

 I like to hangout with my family and like doing outdoor activities. I like to workout and paint as well in my free time.
