Sparkly Jada
German TikToker known as Sparkly Jada (@thesparklyjada) is a content maker that feeds on creativity. As a graphic design student, she enjoys everything from “music, editing, (to) making little short films”. Jada began on the app around five months ago and has since grown a significant social media following. Her digital content is one of a kind, using a variety of digital effects, colors, and noticeable use of butterflies. This unique aesthetic has served her well; Jada currently has over 240k TikTok followers and over 6.4 million likes. We recently spoke to her about future projects, ideas for inspiration, and more!
Tell us a little about yourself.
My name is Jada and I'm 20 years old. I Iive and grew up in Germany and started posting TikToks about 5 months ago. I love music, editing and making little short films.
How did you get started making TikToks?
I started using TikTok during quarantine and because I had a lot of free time I thought that I could try it out. I honestly was very convinced that I would stop posting after a few videos, but I really fell in love with it.
Where do you get inspiration from when making your content?
I kind of get inspired randomly, it could be on a bus ride, watching a movie or listening to music. The best ideas always come to me when I don't try to force it.
What are some things that you like to do outside of TikTok?
I'm currently a graphic design student, so I spend most of my time working on that, because it's my final year. Other than that I love to go drink bubble tea with my friends or play Animal Crossing on my Switch.
Who are you partnering up with in a dream collaboration?
Well honestly people often tag Netflix in my comments, so it would be kinda funny, but also very exciting if they would actually want to work with me. Other than that I would love to collaborate with Justin Yi (@justinyi_), because I feel like we have a similar vibe and I love his unique content.
What was the last song you listened to?
I listened to “Daisy” by Ashnikko. I'm kinda obsessed with her music lately.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
Probably teleportation, it would just save a lot of time and I could visit some friends across the globe.
Would you ever consider a career path on social media?
I think so yes! I love creating videos and content in general, and I don't plan to stop anytime soon.
Any future projects for fans to get excited about?
I'm currently working on a short film that I will probably post on Youtube when it's finished. I also have a few short series on TikTok planned and will try my best to be active on Instagram as well. All in all I'm very excited for what the future will bring!
