Everybody and every body is beautiful!!” We recently spoke with Brooklynne Webb about her favorite TikToks she’s made, her start on TikTok, and more!

Hey Brooklynne! Thank you for speaking with us today. What a crazy journey this must have been for you so far: In less than one year, you’ve managed to earn over 7.3 million TikTok followers. Could you ever have imagined this when you first started?

I never could have imagined it honestly! I remember making TikTok as an Inside joke with my friends - and suddenly I got really captured by the creativity it allowed me to express myself. It took months and months, uploading 3 to even 5 times per day to get some what of a following!

How did you first get started making TikToks? Were social media and entertainment ever career paths that you thought about beforehand?

I started making POV (point of view videos) to sad song audios and was building myself up in that community! It took a while but eventually you get known enough In that space, and the community grew so much that is gave me the ability to capitalize off of it and grow into other niches! I really want to me a professional make up artist but I have always had passions for dancing, social advocacy, acting, and just having an outlet to be unapologetically myself! TikTok definitely came around for me to allow me that privilege.

You seem to have a wide array of content. With that said, how do you typically decide on which videos to create?

I really try to as much as possible only make videos that I think will be positive and inspire people! That is the ultimate goal. But of course, Tik Tok is all about being smart and tapped into trends before they blow up. I pay extremely close attention to trends before they blow up and try to get on board if it fits my brand!

Has the pandemic affected this creative process at all? How so?

Honestly, I wasn’t a big creator before the pandemic! I kind of gained a lot of momentum during the early parts of the pandemic - I think people were watching a lot more Tik Tok with a lot more free time, and I had more time to create.

Which one of your recent TikToks was your favorite to make? Why?

I loved making the video where I shouted out other body positive creators who I felt were underrated in the community - like Amanda LaCount, Lizzy Dances, @imnotbunny, @izzyj1017, @lexielemonn, @rileyandmaleah, @beautifuleatsandthings, @claraandherself, @samaraterese & others!!

With such a huge following, is there ever any pressure to create content? How do you  overcome that?

Thank you so much for the compliment! Yes, sometimes I do feel pressure to keep on pushing myself to make better and better content each day. Sometimes I have to take a day to myself to refresh - do my make up for me because it relaxes me, not for TikTok or for content. That helps click the reset button for me and wake up the next day feeling motivated and ready to go!

What is one message that you want to convey to your fans?

Be Unapologetically Yourself - never let people try to change who you are. Everybody and every body is beautiful!!

Who do you owe your biggest thanks to?

My fans 1000%. Without them I don’t know what I would do - I wouldn’t be able to do all of these special opportunities , I wouldn’t have the opportunity to use my voice in a big way to spread social justice causes, body positivity & more!! I love you all so much for letting me be me and being lovely human beings!!

Lastly, anything to plug? What’s next for Brooklynne Webb?
