Max Martin
In just one year on TikTok, UK native Max Martin has definitely made his mark on the app. The entertainer currently has nearly 300k TikTok followers and 12 million likes, getting the attention of social stars like Lil Huddy. This came in the form of two duets, which have both significantly increased his quickly growing fanbase. Max does some of everything: a combination of POV’s, fashion, and comedy content is what has made him popular. Outside of the app, however, the TikTok star is in the process of studying sports coaching! The 18 year old has grown up with football and is poised on continuing his involvement with the game for years to come. For now, though, he’s enjoying this bit of TikTok success and is hoping for the best in his social media fame. We spoke with Max about his favorite hobbies, a secret talent, and more!
Tell us a little about yourself?
I’ve been brought up in the UK my whole life, My biggest passion in life from the age of 10 has been football and with that I’ve supported Arsenal throughout. I’m in my third year of college studying sports coaching and even coach football for a mental health organization.
How did you get started making TikToks?
I started making TikToks because I saw so many teens coming up with ideas which I thought were really funny and wanted to see what would happen if I made a video which people could relate to. When it all blew up, I decided to carry on, as it was something I was enjoying to do just on the side of my normal life.
Where do you get inspiration from when making content?
My inspiration comes from other TikTokers that I see on my ForYouPage and this where I break it down and think what can I do which is different to other people and that can engage the audience when watching my videos.
What are some of your favorite TikTok trends out right now?
My favorite trend at the moment is people going to McDonald’s and asking for the Travis Scott meal and making a fake line up and then playing “Sicko Mode” by Travis Scott, which confuses the workers at McDonald’s. This trend has been the comedy on the app for the moment.
What’s a secret talent you have?
A secret talent I have is that I can click my ankles, which has been done by injuries from football.
If you could have one superpower what would it be and why?
The one superpower I would have is faster healing (like Wolverine) as it could prevent me from dying so easily and would allow me to feel safe in all environments.
Who are you partnering up with in a dream TikTok collaboration?
My dream TikTok collaboration would be with Chase Hudson otherwise known as Lil Huddy. This is because he’s duetted me twice and it would be iconic for the viewers to see a collaboration like that as we’ve done duets with each other.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years I see myself working towards higher coaching badges in football and working on becoming a professional football manager. If this isn’t the route then I could see myself doing something on social media or other platforms as I am connected with a lot of influencers and have built a following online.
Any future projects for fans to get excited about?
Hopefully the future will come with bigger opportunities to build myself online. A possible other social media platform to move to or even a content creator house to join but we’ll just have to see where it all goes and hope for the best.
