How did you start making music

My pops is a musician so my whole life I’ve been around music& live instruments. My big bro was into recording and went to school for engineering and mixing & mastering. When he had bought equipment, we kinda made a home studio setup and I got into producing/recording from then on.

What’s something you love to do in your free time?

In my free time, I like doing outdoor things. I be trying to stay active, workout, go on hikes etc. Although on my free time I’m usually still working on my phone or laptop, so I don’t know what really is considered free time. I like watching anime and meditating sometimes to keep myself balanced and grounded. I feel like that’s hella important in order to stay strong minded and focused.

From where do you draw inspiration for your verses?

Struggle, life experience. Music is a form of expression and it’s one of the best forms. All of the energy and emotion put into my music is real. My goal is to connect with my fans on a personal level so I keep everything 100% authentic. Other people inspire me to make music as well but life in general and all that comes with it.

If you could perform in any venue in the world, where would you pick?

Nowhere in particular. It would be a blessing to reach any type of venue in the world outside of North America and I know I’ll get to that point!

How do you overcome writer’s block?

Most of my writing is done on the spot in the studio while recording so I don’t experience writers block too often. A lot of my best songs are freestyled. I feel like when you got no expectations, you don’t set guidelines for yourself and it’s easier to just catch a vibe and flow. If I ever have troubles with that I’ll take a 10 minute, roll up sip some Henny and try to draw out new ideas from there.

If you could pick anyone to collaborate with, who would you choose?

Dead or alive? Would have to be Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Micheal Jackson, Prince. This a hard question because the list goes on. Alive would be Erykah Badu, Kehlani, Kamaiyah, Kalan.fr, 03 Greedo, YNW Melly.

What can fans look forward to in the future from you?

The fans can look forward to hella new content on YouTube. I got something different coming for my vlogs ima be first to do it! New music will be releasing more consistently as well as I got a merch drop coming real soon so tap in!
