20-year-old Ajah Mozella’s outgoing and comedic nature is what draws you to her TikTok, and keeps you there. Her ambitious, loving, and distinct style shines as she expresses herself to a fanbase of over 60 thousand. Mozella isn’t resultantly not known for any specific style, being instead marketable to every “side” of the app. Her videos making fun of TikTok trends and various comedy dance bits are among the entertainer’s most popular. And, only in 5 short months, the multi-faceted starlet has amassed close to 790k likes. As her platform grows, Mozella, big on manifestation, is determined to now segway into yet another field, that of the arts. We recently spoke with the up and coming content creator about the start of her TikTok career, her favorite aspects of the app, and more!
Did you have any specific plans or ideas when you joined TikTok?
Actually no, I didn’t. I just decided I would do something during quarantine to keep me occupied and I sorta stuck to it.
Do you have a favorite TikTok Trend?
I wouldn’t say a favorite trend per say but I love all the dance trends, well most of them anyways.
Did you expect to get such a large following when you first joined?
Well, I hoped for it but I was actually surprised when I seen so many people following me— I was like OMG! Now the rumors about TikTok getting shut down hurt at first; but if it does get taken down, I’m glad I made so many people laugh & that I’m proud of!
Where do you get inspiration for your ideas?
Some came from real life experiences, others when I heard a sound I wanted to use the idea just popped up in my head. But of course there’s always a trend going around as well.
What do you like to do when you're not making TikTok’s?
I love to watch movies, anime, sing, spend time with family and friends, and work on my future. That’s my biggest goal right now.
What was the last song you listened to?
Summer Walker just dropped her EP so I’ve been listening to that, the last song was “Let It Go”.
Anything planned for the future?
I have a lot planned for the future, it’s going to be quite exciting honestly. I’d rather do it first then say but it’s going to be a great journey. I guess everyone will just have to wait!
